Patch Wall, NJ --The Wall Township School District is asking for input on full-day, tuition-based kindergarten program.
An online form has been posted to the school district’s website, asking a series of five questions about the type of full-day kindergarten parents would like to see, if at all. The district currently has a ½-day kindergarten program.
Superintendent Daniel Simon is quick to point out that the questionnaire is strictly for informational purposes. There are currently no plans to institute a full-day program, with or without tuition, Simon says in a blog post.
“Information is only being gathered and conversations are taking place,” the post reads. “It should be noted that there is no commitment to move forward with a recommendation to the Board of Education within a specific timetable, if at all.”
The survey asks how interested parents would be as well as how much they would be willing to pay to have it, among other questions. Reported by Patch 1 hour ago.
