Croydon -- *ADVERTISEMENT FEATURE* Christmas preparations in Croydon this year look to be full of hustle and bustle, starting with the Christmas lights celebration on15th November. The lights are due to be switched on outside the Whitgift and Centrale shopping centres in North End by Eastenders star Laila Morse, who plays Mo Harris in the soap. Laila will be accompanied by the rest of the cast as well as Croydon mayor, Councillor Eddie Arram. It is hoped that shoppers will be attracted to one of the main shopping centres south of London that day by an afternoon of free street entertainment of circus acts, stilt walkers and Christmas puddings on roller-skates! There is to be more street entertainment and lots of musical events, culminating in a Light Night event on 13 December.
